CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview with Ram Menon, Founder & CEO.

  • Avaamo has been recognized as a leader in conversational AI and enterprise automation. Could you provide a brief overview of the company’s journey, its core mission, and how it differentiates itself in the AI industry?

Avaamo’s evolution from conversational AI into Agentic Computing  has been a transformative journey, and traces the arc of innovation in AI over the last few years. When we founded the company, rudimentary Natural language processing was the norm   with the advent of neural networks and models like GPT introduced a new era of AI capable of generating coherent, human-like responses. Our Products evolved exponentially from text-based interactions context-aware multi modal agents we are poised to release  software that will create a Ai based workforce that could replace many roles in the enterprise This shift will ha empower our customers in exciting new ways

  • Can you explain the concept of Agentic AI and how it differs from traditional conversational AI? How does Avaamo integrate this approach into enterprise automation?

Conversational Ai is simply the ability for Ai systems to converse and communicate with the user.

Ex: asking  your Employee assistant  to explain vacation holidays this year or asking for clarification on medical insurance.

Agentic Ai: it goes one step further . It could be as simple as – “Sign me up for medical insurance this year”

The Ai agent will then knows who you are will analyze the company medical insurance options and will autonomously sign you and your family  up for insurance coverage

  • Avaamo’s AI agents autonomously handle tasks like scheduling appointments, processing expenses, and managing logistics. Could you share specific examples of these applications and the measurable value they bring to businesses?

For example: in the US 8/10 top 10 largest hospital systems in the country use Avaamo to schedule Doctors appointments. We scheduled 150M appointments last year. It seems simple right- well it’s not so simple.  A typical patient goes through several steps: (1) goes on the hospital site to find a specialist doctor near their home (2) calls the hospital  to see whether they accept their insurance (3) Then call the doctors office /wait on hold and try to find an acceptable time for a consultation.

Now Avaamo agents and execute a simple command :” find me a board certified doctor near my home who is available next week on Thursday afternoon “. Avaamo Scheduling agent finds the doctor/ checks the availability and books the appointment and sends a confirmatory SMS.

  • What are the key technical innovations behind Avaamo’s AI agents that enable them to perform task-oriented automation effectively? How do you address challenges such as adaptability and decision-making in complex environments?

Avaamo’s has 10+ patents in various Ai technologies enabling us to deliver on the example stated above -natural language processing/ speech recognition/ enterprise workflow automation and doing it reliably at scale.

  • Data security and compliance are critical in enterprise AI. What measures does Avaamo implement to ensure robust data protection while deploying Agentic AI solutions?

Avaamo offers the highest data security in the industry with encryption data at rest and motion and adherence  to enterprise standards which is why some of  the largest companies in the world: Intel Ericsson, Mondelez, Yale University and more trust us with their corporate data for Ai projects

  • What trends do you foresee shaping the future of enterprise AI, particularly with the rise of Agentic AI? How is Avaamo preparing to align with these trends and expand its impact

Humanity stands at a crossroads. For too long, we’ve been imprisoned by screens, shackled by software, and reduced to digital button-pushers. The tyranny of traditional software has turned healthcare workers into data entry clerks, support agents into script-readers, and HR professionals into form-processors. AI from companies like Aavamo will liberate the enterprise workforce from boring repetitive tasks to higher value work.
