- Tell us everything about your start-up, what does it do and the problems it solves?
We’re here to help streamline the hiring process for large companies as well as startups by connecting them with highly relevant candidates. Unlike traditional job boards that inundate recruiters with numerous profiles, most of which aren’t a good fit, our AI-enabled matching focuses on presenting a more targeted selection where almost all profiles align with the recruiter’s needs. This has been experienced by 97% of our client recruiters who have reduced their time-to-source candidates significantly due to our precise matching algorithms, resulting in efficient hiring processes, cost savings, and higher-quality hires.

With our latest advanced ATS, recruiters can create hiring stages that mirror the actual recruitment process, send emails, assess interviewed candidates, and seamlessly progress them through various pipeline stages, bidding goodbye to the days of juggling Excel sheets or Google Docs.
Our AI even pinpoints candidates who have been inactive in the pipeline for a while and gently reminds the recruiter managing the job, ensuring they never overlook promising talent. This way, recruiters can swiftly act on these candidates and ensure none slip through the cracks.
Moreover, recruiters can bring in their own candidates from other sources and upload them to their job postings on Instahyre. Additionally, using our Chrome extension, recruiters can directly import candidates from other, older job platforms and manage those candidates within our well-integrated multifunctional ecosystem.
- What were the challenges of setting up and scaling? How did you overcome them?
We tackled each hurdle on its merit, without getting bogged down or fruitlessly trying to stick to preconceived notions. Remaining flexible is something that has persisted in our company DNA since our early days of setting up Instahyre’s tech stack to make it really useful for recruiters and candidates. While we were scaling up, there were hiccups that made it challenging, but once again our adaptive approach carried us through strongly.
Once we were operating at scale, maintaining the tech stack and improving it all the time became our focus. We also follow a very quick decision-making process about the new experiments we try. If the results do not show signs of improving after moderate fixes, we discontinue the experiment and move on without regret. This helps us deliver the pointed features and capabilities our customers want, sometimes even before they know they need them. Combining our experience of helping recruiters over the years, we continuously develop integrated solutions for both sides of the hiring process.
- What is the product/service enhancement roadmap?
We’ll be soon introducing more AI-enabled capabilities to enable recruiters to post their jobs more quickly and accurately to attract a bigger pool of highly relevant job-seekers.
Some of the advanced ATS features, not available in any other ATS worldwide, are also in development. Our long-term goal remains making recruiters’ lives easy as a breeze.

- Tell us about your user base. What do the numbers look like?
We crossed the 35 million mark in terms of registered candidates a while ago. On the client side, we are keeping over 13,000 clients happy with our end-to-end recruitment services. They range from the biggest brands in the product and SaaS domains to the latest startups dreaming of reaching unicorn status, as well as agencies who are hiring talent in bulk or niche roles for established tech companies.
- Could you shed some light on your tie-ups and partnerships so far? Are there any agreements that are in the pipeline?
We have collaborated with prominent third-party ATS providers. So, if an employer is using an old ATS right now, recruiters can find top-notch candidates on Instahyre and smoothly move them to their existing ATS with just one click. This makes managing easy! Recruiters love this feature because, unlike old-school job boards, they don’t have to waste time downloading resumes and then re-uploading them again to their ATS.
- How has AI paved the way for an altogether new era of hiring?
Our AI has revolutionized hiring by automating and optimizing various recruitment processes. It enables our client recruiters to sift through vast pools of candidates with unprecedented speed and precision, reducing time-to-hire. Traditional methods often involve sifting through irrelevant applications and slow processes. AI-driven platforms like Instahyre can match candidates with roles more accurately than traditional methods. Our AI also eliminates biases and streamlines the entire workflow, allowing recruiters to focus on strategic tasks while cutting down on repetitive tasks like manual screening

- Take us through your expansion plans.
We are entering the BFSI and ITES sectors to build on our success in the product and SaaS arenas. This is part of our planned industry-wise expansion, including ramping up our candidate database. On the geographic front, we are exploring territories outside India too, since our solution has high customizability for recruiters who want to source top talent anywhere in the world. So, we are expanding our length as well as breadth.
