CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview with Dhruv Trigunayat, CEO at UltraFresh
**Can you provide an overview of how Ultrafresh integrates cutting-edge technology into its home decor designs?**
At Ultrafresh, we’re leveraging advanced technology to create high-quality 3D designs for our modular furniture, which are seamlessly integrated with our in-house apps to enhance the customer experience. Our state-of-the-art factory is equipped with the latest advanced machinery that works in tandem with our 3D tools and technology, ensuring the production of high-quality, factory-finished materials.
**How has 3D technology transformed the design and manufacturing processes at Ultrafresh for home decor products?**
3D technology has significantly improved both tangible and intangible aspects of our products, especially in customization and visualization. It allows us to present a clear picture of the final product to customers. This integrated process has enhanced our capacity and improved coordination between design, production, and installation teams, resulting in transparent and reliable outcomes.
**What are the main benefits of using 3D modeling in home decor design for both the company and the customers?**
For Ultrafresh, 3D modeling allows us to showcase our best-customized product range and deliver superior results. For customers, it provides the ability to visualize their space in detail, including finishes, colors, handles, and lighting, before the product is delivered, enhancing their overall experience and providing clarity on the design and expected outcome.
**Could you share a case study or example of a successful project where 3D technology played a crucial role in home decor design?**
During the pandemic, when our studios were closed, we used site images to create high-quality 3D designs for clients who couldn’t visit in person. Our team conducted video conferencing sessions to present these designs, complete with 3D models and reference images, which was a game changer. Despite access restrictions, we were able to deliver within guidelines, demonstrating the effectiveness of 3D technology.
**How do you see the role of technology evolving in the home decor industry over the next few years?**
The home decor industry has rapidly adopted technology in recent years. Integrating 3D design technology with digital platforms, along with utilizing AR and VR for enhanced customer experiences, will be transformative. These advancements will significantly improve how customers visualize and interact with their design choices.
**What are some of the key technological trends you believe will shape the future of home decor design and manufacturing?**
Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning will combine to reduce the turnaround time between understanding customer requirements and being able to present a 3D-rendered solution with quotation. We anticipate this process will be seamless and will empower customers while reducing operational costs for suppliers/manufacturers like us. We have already started seeing glimpses of the future, even at this early adaption stage of AI.
**In what ways has Ultrafresh’s focus on innovation and technology impacted its market position and growth in the home decor sector?**
At Ultrafresh, we are a young team that has not only been able to adapt new technology with agility but also been able to integrate different stages of our supply chain to finally create a seamless customer experience. This has resulted in much better execution, more references, and eventually to exponential increase in revenue.
**How does Ultrafresh ensure the sustainability and eco-friendliness of its tech-driven home decor products?**
Ultrafresh is committed to sustainability. We promote steel kitchens for their eco-friendly nature and use digital catalogs and recyclable packaging to reduce paper usage. Our emphasis on sustainable practices ensures that our tech-driven home decor products are environmentally responsible.
**Can you explain how technology enhances the customer experience, particularly in terms of visualization and customization, for home decor products?**
With custom-made products, it’s challenging for customers to be convinced by displays or handmade drawings alone. 3D design technology allows customers to visualize modular settings, including cabinets, drawers, colors, handle styles, and decor elements. This material-based communication between the brand and client ensures transparency and helps customers make informed decisions.
**What advice would you give to other companies in the home decor industry looking to integrate advanced technologies into their offerings?**
Integrating technology can help in three key areas: creating a better customer experience, improving clarity in communication, and generating better manufacturing outputs. Embracing advanced technologies will enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
